It's getting down to the wire now. I am anxiously waiting for my VISA which still has not been sent back which worries me. I am buying different pins every other day, I should stop so I have some room on my jacket for more and room in my suitcase to put the ones for the other exchange students. Today I received an e-mail from my YEO telling me of a whole bunch of event organized by our club. There's a lot in just the first 15 days of me arriving! This is making me quite anxious but I am very happy to get this kind of information. I am working full time so I find it difficult to make sure I remember to do this this and that but I am trying my best. Only 24 days are left until I am on the plane to Montreal. The countdown begins!

Trinity
The view from the hill coming from Stuart's house in Trinity east. Paul Stuart and I will be heading there for the weekend. I am beyond looking forward to it! I am so glad I get to go to Trinity before I go away. A month from tomorrow I will be on the plane to Belgium... this is so crazy! I look forward to the rest of my summer, and above all, la Belgique!

L'arrivée
My forms are finally here! That was one headache I wish I never had to deal with, but I am happy. Now I can sort out my visa and get ready for Belgium, this is EXTREMELY exciting. Stuart is away again for a week and I miss him already! He was gone for a year so I think it's reasonable to want to spend the most time possible together before I go away... hehe. He comes back monday, I am super looking forward to it! ~

FEDEX
The worst service I have ever received has been from FEDEX. Over a month ago my guarantee forms arrived in St. John's. The problem was, the name on the package was my Rotary president who is on a multi-month long trip to Italy. Because the package was coming and he knew he would not be there to recieve it, he changed the address to where my counselor's office is. Everything SHOULD have been fine, but because there was "no verification of the shipper" they never sent it there. I tried to pick it, as well as my counselor but they refused to give us the package, even with John Harnet's request. I was under the impression they were trying to contact the guy in Belgium to verify the change in address, but they did not try to contact him even once. Because of that my package was sent back to Belgium, and they charged my Rotary club the return cost as well as the cost to ship it back. Crazy! Let's just say I yelled at a LOT of people. Hopefully they are one their way back here, and I can get them.

Le Reste
Seulement 46 jours restent.
Mon voyage s'approche...

Le Canada
Today is the day we celebrate the birth of my favorite country, Canada! I absolutely love being a Canadian and would not have it any other way. Today though, I will not REALLY be celebrating. A bunch of my friends and I are hosting a coming home party for Stuart at my house. It will be a potluck and a BBQ. It will be a lot of fun. I will wear white and red anyways, to show my love for my country. I am so excited to have my man back in Newfoundland to enjoy the summer. I hope he enjoys the party today!
