Le bal

 

This past weekend was my graduation! So glad to have spend it with my good friends. Only 5 classes left before exams start. It's insanely busy in my life at the moment. Studying, worrying about Rotary and missing Stuart every day! I don't have my flights booked, my guarantee forms here or my insurance bought. It's kind of stressing me out, but I know that it will all work out. Saturday was so much fun but now it's time to concentrate on the now and study a lot!

Se Détendre

I don't have any work for the rest of the week! I can't wait to RELAXX!!! I have grad on Saturday but I refuse to stress about it. The trees now have all their leaves and summer is really coming. I keep saying the same thing, but I just can't believe there is less than a month left of my high school life. It's actually crazy!

I got something in the mail today but it was sent to the post office so I have to get it tomorrow. I really hope it's my guarantee forms! That means soon I can book my flights!! This is actually so exciting...

Amour

Même quand tu es sur l'autre côté du monde, je t'aime. J'ai la confiance que notre amour est trop forte d'être influencé par la distance. Seulement un mois avant notre réunion dans l'aéroport. Je t'aime je t'aime je t'aime !!

J'attends

J'attends du future. Je comprends que c'est important à chérir chaque jour, mais il y a des nouveaux choses chaque jour qui cause plus d'impatience. Peut-être bientôt je peux vraiment vivre aujourd'hui et pas demain. Une semaine reste avant le bal de lycéens, un mois reste de l'école, un mois et quelques jours restent avant le retour de Stuart et finalement seulement trois mois restent avant la Belgique. J'attends pour toutes ces choses !

L'art

This is a picture I drew for DA about my exchange. You can probably tell I am pretty obsessed.. haha! Please take a look at it here. Today was "Senior Pip Day" and I had a load of fun pipping off! Haha, I won't make a habit of it though! I relaxed in the afternoon and took a nap and played some video games. It was a nice summer day, but it was too windy to go anywhere and really enjoy it. These kind of days remind me of lazy summer days with Stuart. These days will be coming soon! He comes home in a month and 7 days! I cannot wait!

La Loutre

Hier j'ai parlé un peu avec mon ami Hugo, qui habite en France. Je lui donnais un surnom d'un animal et il me donnait le surnom d'une loutre. Très canadienne ! J'aime pratiquer le français avec mes amis avec Skype, mais je suis tellement ravis pour l'occasion à utiliser la langue chaque jour en Belgique ! Seulement trois mois qui reste...

Trois Mois

This is a photo of summer in St. John's. It is quickly approaching!!! I am looking forward to it VERY much. There are only THREE months left until my exchange, but even before that only a little more than ONE month until I get to spend time with my favorite man ever!!! I am super looking forward to everything. I have loads of work to do before it all comes together, but it will be worth it I am sure! Ahhh I feel excellent! August 15th is approaching quickly!!

Ma Mère

My mom, September 18th 1959 - January 10th 2012. It's only been a few months and it's still hard to soak in that you're gone, but I love you so much. My mom was one hell of a woman and there are a lot of qualities that she showed me throughout her life that I hope I will get to show my children. Mom never wanted me to go on exchange or leave Newfoundland for university... I am growing up Mom and even if I am in a different country I will think of you no less. I hope you know that. I love you so much words cannot describe. Wherever you are I hope you know that I love you. RIP.

Le Veston

A little video. It's nothing special at all, but just wanted to make something about my orientation which was today. Everyday I grow more and more anxious to go on exchange! Only 3 months left.... wow!

La Pression

J'ai travaillé lundi, mercredi, jeudi aujourd'hui et je dois travailler demain. J'ai beaucoup de choses à faire pour l'école aussi. Deux projets de recherche et deux tests sont dus la semaine prochaine. Ceci me fais très stressé. Heureusement demain il y a l'orientation pour Rotary. Je suis très ravis pour demain, même si immédiatement après l'orientation j'ai le travail.

Demain j'ai parlé un peu avec Stuart. Il était dans un café avec l'internet, pour que nous pouvions parler. Il me manque, mais je suis tellement heureuse qu'il ait pris cette occasion pour aller au Japon.

Le Fin

Yesterday I took my calculus exam, and it's finally sinking in for REAL. I am finished with math for high school. In less than two months I will be finished high school overall! (I don't count my year on exchange! Hahaa) In 3 months I will be heading off to Europe to live there for a year. I am so excited! I haven't left the province since I went to Vancouver in grade 8, that was 5 years ago! I can't wait to use my money to travel, shop and EAT! I have officially stopped caring about gaining weight on exchange. I even bought a world map so I can mark all the places I go when I come back. To make things even better, the weather has been great! Maybe summer actually is on it's way! The only downside is I am working a lot, but I will find a way to balance it out!

Mathématiques

Another day filled with studying. This is the life of a student. I plan to take a study break at 5:30 to talk with a bunch of exchange students on this thing called oovoo. I am looking forward to it, because studying and working so much is making me depressed! My exam is on wednesday, after that there is no more math this year! I like math, but this is too much!

Histoire Mondial

Always one test after another... this time it is history. We are going world war two but I just can't find it very interesting. I have been procrastinating a lot today. I will start studying again now for an hour or so. I was researching more about my family today. They own a café and have a really pretty house! I am looking forward to being able to share the first third of my adventures with them.

Stuart doesn't have internet with his new host family so I will not be able to talk with him for a month... or two. This is somewhat sad, because he always makes my mornings. I haven't seen him (outside of skype) for more than 8 months. It is too bad I have to wait so long to talk with him again, but I am sure it will be fine. The summer should hurry up, the weather here would really make you think it is never going to come.

Finally happy 19th birthday to Ayane Okazaki, the japanese exchange student here! I misunderstood and missed her b-day dinner ): oh no! I will make it up to her though. Enjoy your big b-day in Canada!!

Le Matin

I woke up early to take a shower, but I am so tired! Somehow I managed to convince myself it was worth it to stay up. I want to go to school everyday and show my little brother that it is for the best. Sleep is important but school is even more! I was just thinking how I will be probably be waking up quite early in Belgium. I am sure it will pose no problems and I look forward to the change in setting. Summer is approaching... hurry up!

L'école

Ceci est une image de mon école que j'ai trouvé. L'année prochaine je veux faire beaucoup d'amis variées ! J'ai découvert déjà trois étudiants qui seront dans la même école. Une fille est du Canada ! Un garçon des États-Unis et une autre fille du Brésil. J'ai tous les trois sur Facebook et j'essaye à leur parler souvent.

Le Soleil

The snow has melted and the beautiful sun of spring shows it's colours once more. I am so glad summer is coming, I have been waiting for it for too long!! It's May 1st, that means I am graduating next month. Wow! Just my exams are left and then I look forward to preparing for my exchange and spending time in the sun with Stuart.

I was talking with my host mom yesterday. I am waiting for a reply, but my e-mail is blocked!!!! I can't for the life of me figure out why either. I will have to speak of our conversations and what I learn from her another time. For now, off to school I go!
